Luís Filipe Vieira in Pedrógão Grande and Castanheira de Pera

On Wednesday (May 23), the President of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Luís Filipe Vieira, will be present at the presentation of several initiatives of the "Fundação Benfica" (foundation) related to the prevention in the civil defense area and the education for the reforestation, in Pedrógrão Grande and Castanheira de Pera.

Together with reference partners in their respective areas of intervention, the Benfica Foundation will present the projects "Fica Bem Seguro" and "Faz da tua Escola um viveiro!" in zones considered relevant by the authorities and by the civil society  – on of education for the prevention at a national level, another of education for the reforestation, with impact in 16 municipalities of the center of the Country ravaged by the wildfires of 2017.

There will be present at the ceremony: Luís Filipe Vieira, the President of SL Benfica and of the "Fundação Benfica"; Carlos Moia, the chief executive of the "Fundação Benfica"; José Vítor Pedroso, the director-general of Education; Cristina Ventura, the president of ISEC Lisboa; Pedro Rodrigues, the pedagogical director of the "Escola Profissional Gustave Eiffel"; José Pais, vice-president of the "Lousitânea – Liga de Amigos da Serra da Lousã"; Alda Carvalho, the mayor of Castanheira de Pera; presidents/representatives of the Municipalities of Arganil, Carregal do Sal, Figueiró dos Vinhos, Góis, Lousã, Mangualde, Mortágua, Nelas, Oliveira do Hospital, Pampilhosa da Serra, Pedrógão Grande, Penacova, Santa Comba Dão, Tábua, and Tondela; Nádia Piazza, the presidente of the "Associação de Vítimas do Incêndio de Pedrógão Grande"; Luís Lagos, the president of the "Associação das Vítimas do Maior Incêndio de Sempre em Portugal"; António Marques, the president of Sport Castanheira de Pera e Benfica.
