The Benfica of Rui Vitória is one of the few teams, among the 10 main leagues of the Old Continent, which have achieved always 80 points in the last three seasons. The punctuation average per match in this period is only superseded by FC Bayern.

The three points won against Moreirense in the last round of Liga NOS have allowed Benfica to reach 81 points, outpacing, this way, the 80 points barrier in three seasons in a row reached 88 in 2015/16 and 82 in 2016/17.

In an analysis made the Official Website, it is easy to notice that, among the 10 main leagues of Europe, there are few clubs which managed to overvcome the 80 points record in three consecutive seasons. In fact, in this particular case there are no clubs from the English and Russian leagues, championships with a higher coefficient than Liga NOS.
