Benfica got a 1-all draw against Belenenses, at Estádio do Restelo. At the end of the encounter, Jonas, who scored the Reds' goal, regretted the draw and remembered that there are still 14 rounds left.

“In the first half we found it difficult to create plays, to get the ball back from Belenenses, so it was a stalled first half for us, which allowed the opponent to make things hard for us. In the second half, we had a lot of goal chances. I had the chance to open the scoring, but I missed the penalty. Then, we conceded a goal and, in the end, we ended up getting the equalizer. It is better to get a point than none, but of course we are sad with today's result”, admitted the Brazilian forward.

“There are still many matches, we have 14 rounds left and a lot of points to play for…”, remembered Benfica's number 10 jersey.

We scored the equalizer – in injury time tempo– but in the 73rd minute, he missed the penalty that could have put the Reds in front. A waste opportunity, according to the Brazilian, with a lot of credit from Filipe Mendes.

“The Belenenses goalkeeper did well to save the penalty. I think I also did not hit so well, I hit a bit slow and also for that he was fortunate enough to save”, he confessed.
