An afternoon "à Benfica", with our Futsal team hosting - and winning - at Luz, the CS São João, in the last match of the regular season.

After the 0-0 by the halftime, the goals came on the second half... with the visitors scoring first.

Losing at home, by 0-1, the eagles fought back and Miguel Ângelo struck the equalizer. Jefferson, Chaguinha and Patias dilated the score to 4-1, and closed the match.

With this result, SL Benfica ends the national championship's regular season on the 2nd place. (20W5D1L)

Joel Rocha's starting five was: Cristiano, Bruno Coelho, Rafael Henmi, Jefferson and Miguel Ângelo.

After that, comes the Portuguse Cup's Final Eight. The competition will be in Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar, between the 11th and 14th of May.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica is going to face Centro Social de São João in the quarter-finals, on Thursday, at 7:45pm.

In case of winning, the reds will fight for a place in the Final against the winner of the match between Sporting CP and Estoril Praia Futsal.

The Final is on Sunday, at 3:30pm.
