Benfica holds football camps in South Africa

Benfica's professional football team held another training session on Tuesday, April 22, at the Benfica Campus, with a view to the match against Tirsense, scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, at the Estádio da Luz. The second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-final is scheduled for 8:15 pm.

For three days, between April 14 and 16, Benfica Campus hosted the 1st edition of the Goalkeeper Experience, an initiative that allowed 20 boys and girls, born between 2007 and 2012, to develop and perfect their sporting performance as goalkeepers, according to SL Benfica's training methodology. A success, to be repeated!

Christy Ucheibe, Joana Silva, Francisco Neto and João Veloso, players from Benfica's women's team and B team respectively, put their skills to the test in a skill challenge, in which the good mood and relaxation of the moment prevailed. At Benfica Campus, the challenge consisted of the footballers, in pairs, and in a series of 10 shots/passes by each participant, scoring goals in four mini-goals, worth points depending on the degree of difficulty, i.e. the distance to the target.
